A lot of you have checked out and listened to Episode 38 all ready, well here’s the video that goes into all of the work we did on our terrain projects. Well, ok, some of us did more work while others did more gabbing and hanging out but it’s great to see these projects start to evolve and really start to come to life.
Merry Mayhem 2013 will be on December 14, 2013 and we are accepting registration for all events via this website. Merry Mayhem is proud to announce that it is at a new venue this year and will be hosted at the VFW Day Post 7591. This is right down the street from Misty Mountain Games so travel, hotels, and sites to see should be the same as previous years.
Registration for Merry Mayhem 2013 can be found at the registration page. This year we are featuring registration for the event through the website. This is different then in previous years and this will help the event manage registration hopefully better for not only you as players but for those of us organizing and running events there.
The Warhammer army grand prize raffle give away has been announced as well for 2013 and it’s a big one! This year, for our 4th ever army give away we are talking Lizardmen. Just like previous years, this will be all brand new, all in the box, and will be a great addition to anyone’s Warhammer collection or wanting to start a new army. For that we are sure!
Merry Mayhem 2013 is also announcing that the Warhammer Fantasy Tournament is available for registration.
See you guys at our new venue for the fifth anniversary of Merry Mayhem on December 14, 2013.
Stay tuned for more announcements at the Merry Mayhem website for other events and activities and help make this years Merry Mayhem great!
Well folks, another year of Gen Con is in the books and there was certainly fun to be had. I can say I had a great time this year, and even if you are just a Wargamer I found there was plenty to do and check out this year.
So, what was there to do?
Booths to check out
Games-Workshop Booth Of course, there was the GW booth which was overall bigger this year with a massive and really cool 40k display with tons of troops, giant vehicles, another such round base silliness. As well, Forgeworld and Black Library were there was cool stuff from Warhammer Forge on display in the case. For the most part, I didn’t notice anything really new there, but all in all it was really cool none the less.
The hosts get back together for another terrain day session and work on their projects from last time as well as Conesy starts a new project.
On top of that, Conesy has an interview with Alex who is one of the key organizer’s for Game Hole Con which is going to be here in Madison on November 1-3, 2013 at the Sheraton Madison Hotel. WiscoDice will be at this con running a Friday night monster mash for intros to Warhammer. Saturday, we will be there running a crazy megabattle event. Make sure you check this con out and see your favorite hosts there and get some Warhammer action in.
Get your tickets and all of the information at the Gamehole Con website at http://www.gameholecon.com/.
Dustin continues his work on the following projects:
- 4 pillars
- 3 wall sections
- Ziggurat tower
Brian picks up work on his Dark Elf tower and can’t seem to find the right size wooden dowels. Still, somehow, progress is made and this thing is looking pretty sharp.
Meanwhile Conesy works on painting up his foam core house, casts a pretty good number of Hirst Arts bricks, and puts together a fieldstone bridge from those bricks.
Make sure you submit your questions for future editions of the new Cheesecurd segment! Just send them in to firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to hear your terrain questions.
