In episode 40 our hosts are finally able to get back to more of our standard format with special guest and original host Paul Wagner in the studio. On top of that, we talk about the new Lizardmen in our Cheesecurd segment and for our main topic we discuss techniques that you might be able to employ to find time, or at least to make time, when your constantly busy and you just don’t feel like you have enough of it.

Episode 39 just ended up too big to do in one episode, so we split it in two! In 39b, the hosts pick up where they left off with the final 3 turns of the game. While it wasn’t too harrowing when we left our hosts in 39a, this not so epic conclusion of the game has some real high points.

Episode 39a – Back to Projects

Episode 39 just ended up too big to do in one episode, so we split it in two! In 39a, the hosts get together and talk about what’s been going on, in particular recap the WWHFB Tournament of Champions that was held at The Last Square in Madison. This was a small tournament with ten people playing in it (counting Conesy the ringer).
Things move though to a battle that’s been brewing for a little while with Brian’s Brettonians vs. Conesy’s Tomb Kings. King Ra’Men (Conesy’s General) seeks vengeance upon a rural Brettonian village seeking treasures that were plundered from the tombs of his lesser nobles. Little did he anticipate, that Lord Boromir was flying out to meet him. In this meeting engagement, will Prince Ra’Men return victorious. You’ll have to listen to the first half of the battle in this episode and tune into 39b to find out who wins!
Episode 38 – Back to Projects

The hosts get back together for another terrain day session and work on their projects from last time as well as Conesy starts a new project.
On top of that, Conesy has an interview with Alex who is one of the key organizer’s for Game Hole Con which is going to be here in Madison on November 1-3, 2013 at the Sheraton Madison Hotel. WiscoDice will be at this con running a Friday night monster mash for intros to Warhammer. Saturday, we will be there running a crazy megabattle event. Make sure you check this con out and see your favorite hosts there and get some Warhammer action in.

Dustin continues his work on the following projects:
- 4 pillars
- 3 wall sections
- Ziggurat tower
Brian picks up work on his Dark Elf tower and can’t seem to find the right size wooden dowels. Still, somehow, progress is made and this thing is looking pretty sharp.
Meanwhile Conesy works on painting up his foam core house, casts a pretty good number of Hirst Arts bricks, and puts together a fieldstone bridge from those bricks.

The hosts get together and talk all things pointy. Well, there isn’t coconuts or laden swallows, but there is a lot of talk about our favorite Kinnigits. It’s our Brettonian army review.
Not only is there talk about all things Brettonia, but the hosts catch up on what they have been working on and recap a couple of friendly games they have played recently. With hobby discussion out of the way, the discussion of the Brettonian army book gets full under way capped off with some hopes and thoughts for what we would like to see in a future book. Finally, we wrap the show up with some hobby and gaming goals to try to hit for the next episode.

The hosts get together to work on terrain for Merry Mayhem and put together several projects. Pictures of all of the projects in their work in progress states are up in the gallery as well for you to see what we are talking about. There will be a YouTube video that should be coming out soon to support this show so keep an eye out for it.
Projects included terrain for a chaos dwarf table done by guest Dustin Vogel which includes:
- 4 pillars
- 3 wall sections
- Ziggurat tower
Brian works on a Dark Elf tower and finds the challenge both more then he expected and something that has gotten him extra excited to keep working on. Meanwhile, Conesy works on an earthblood mere for Blood in the Sun (finished picture in the gallery), a road or footpath, and a foamcore roadside inn.

For the main topic, the hosts recap eight things that they used to see on the Warhammer table, but seem like they are extinct since 8th edition came out. No, the hosts didn’t run out of things to talk about but they remiss about some units and models we used to see on the table that just don’t seem to cut it in 8th edition.

From a number of recording sessions, this show catches up with everyone and we hear about what’s been going on, what hopes everyone has and we get in some tourney and event coverage to. Adepticon coverage including Conesy’s Friday Team Tourney outing with the handsome man Grant Fetter.
On top of that, Battle for Big Bull falls is covered with special guest, Mike Ballard. Mike ran the event and it was great to sit down and recap not only Conesy’s games with him, but to hear about some of the other games and fun that was had at this event.
