This week we dove into a world of fantasy and explored the Cthulhu mythos. It was our second play through of a the Cthulhu deck building game. Our last was almost a year ago, so it was time to break it out and enjoy battling the monsters with some green spaghetti and meatballs.

The Game…Cthulhu Deck Building Game

I am a huge fan of deck builders. I enjoy the planning mixed with randomness you get. In this game you are working cooperative to banish the Elder God and minions.

We battelled Elder God, Azathoth, who destroyed one card from each investigator when they activated, paired with the Mythos event, Famine (had of cards is 3 instead of 5). This was a hindrance made it difficult to build a powerful deck.

The Food…Green Spaghetti and Meatballs

We whipped up some spaghetti and meatballs for brunch today. Turning the alfredo sauce into a nice green color to coat the pasta. Giving it a very Cthulhu-like feel.

And Beyond…
