Teotihuacan: City of Gods Deluxe Master Set

Our first game this week is Teotihuacan: City of Gods Deluxe Master Set on Gamefound from Board&Dice.

Teotihuacan is a 1 to 4 player dice worker placement euro game set in Aztec Meso-America where players manage resources, develop their workers, climb the steps of the great temples and contribute to the construction of the Pyramid of the Sun.

The original game released in 2018 and this is the second printing of the deluxe master set. This version features a number of upgrades to the original version including, new design and artwork, new upgraded components, a new expansion for a 5th player, upgraded player boards and more.

This second printing of the deluxe master set is available at two discounted pledge levels:

  • Teotihuacan deluxe master set – $125 – includes the deluxe master set version with all existing expansions and promos
  • All-in Pledge – $188 – Everything in the deluxe master set plus a set of dual sided neoprene play mats as well as individual player mats and card sleeves for all cards in the game.

The campaign for Teotihuacan: City of the Gods Deluxe Master set on Gamefound ends on February 4, 2025, so make sure to get you pledge in before then. 

Merlin Deluxe Big Box

Our second game this week is the Merlin Deluxe Big Box from Queen Games on Kickstarter. 

Merlin is a classic euro game from designers Stefan Feld and Michael Reineck. Players acts as one of the knights of the round table and will use dice to move their knight around the round table rondel to take actions. Players will build manors, fight invading barbarians and increase their influence in the land with the goal of becoming King Arthur’s successor. 

This new big box version brings together the base game along with all three of the existing expansions into one box that also includes deluxe components. The Merlin Deluxe Big Box is available now on Kickstarter  for $69, again which includes the base game and the Arthur, Knights of the Round Table and Morgana expansions. The campaign only runs until February 2, 2025, so get your pledges in now.
