Today arrived my freebies for backing the Raging Heroes Kickstarter for their Toughest Girls in the Galaxy II campaign. I have been a fan of Raging Heroes for quite some time and have a number of their models for my current dark elf and daemon armies for Warhammer Fantasy/9th Age. All of those models are metals and have been really, really well done. When I had backed this Kickstarter, Warhammer Fantasy (8th Edition) was still a thing and when I saw this, I thought I would use it as a way to build an all female model Dark Elf army. It’s taken a while, as with any miniature Kickstarter to get the models to the point that they can start to ship and this is just the very first bit of models that I will be receiving. The bonus is that I still plan on doing these guys up as a new army, but whether that actually ever hits the table or just becomes a hobby project…I am not sure yet.

What I really like about the models is the fine detail. These are really well detailed models as you can see from the pictures. They models are all resin, which is fine with me, but it does mean I will need to wash them. A lot of the models seem very thin and a bit delicate. I am a little worried that the resin will be able to hold up over time and table top use. One thing of note is that I don’t see flaws in the resin like air bubbles which is a big plus in my book.

Enjoy the pictures and post on the Facebook group what you think of them.
