Welcome to Kickstart Monday!!!! This is our weekly series featuring 2 or more crowdfunding projects in the tabletop gaming industry. I scour over platforms like KickstarterGamefound, and Indigogo to find projects that interest me. People would ask me what I think is worth backing since I was providing these recommendations already. So why not share my thoughts with a weekly blog about projects that interest me?

This week on Kickstart Monday I found a few projects for the 3D printer I thought were intriguing. Whether you are looking for some historic buildings to fill in that medieval game or you are playing a wartorn or wasteland game there are projects here that should intrigue you!

Medieval Town

Medieval Town from 3D Fortress offers some great, historically based, medieval structures for your gaming table. These models are scaled for 28mm models, but can be easily upscaled if you need it for larger scale games say 32mm scale. The amount of detail is quite impressive in what’s shown. On top of that, something you don’t see a lot with these projects is assembly instructions!

The towers and walls have several assembly options to customize them to your needs. The most exciting part of this project, for me, is the decor. Carts, wagons, and crates of produce that you can use to create a full-blown medieval market. My mind jumps to imagining an adventuring group being jumped by the local thieves guild in a medieval market and having my players have to deal with the various parts of the market as well as various people at the market and perhaps even the town guard at some point.

If you are like me and can imagine great stories around this terrain then perhaps this is a project you should check out!

Wasteland Memorable Buildings

Wasteland Memorable Buildings from Bad Roll Games is the next STL project from this creator. This is a creator I have supported previously and am printing is Mansion project currently. These models have pretty incredible detail and scale well for 28-32mm games.

There are three buildings included in this project. Each of them is modeled to look as if it has not been used for years and the decay is designed brilliantly into each one. These are great models to add to a post-apocalyptic or wasteland terrain table. Whether that’s for a game like Fallout or you are doing something where some of your tables have modern urban modern decay these buildings will help you fill out that table with great terrain.

If you are looking for great urban decay buildings to fill in your table then you should check out this project!
