It’s that time of year when we should all take the time to think about what we are really thankful for. Join me as I take the time to go over what I am thankful for in 2020. Stick with the show as I might let slip a little bit about what might be coming for the future of WiscoDice.
When I started prepping for this week’s Kickstart Monday post, I thought I would be talking about Knight Games new project. Since that was pulled down and is slotted to be re-launched later this week I had to do some quick research to find a second game to talk about. I always enjoy scouring Kickstarter for board games, miniatures products, and other just cool stuff that people are trying to get funded. This week I found two projects that I found pretty cool.
Infinity Game Table
Let’s start with the Infinity Game Table by Arcade1up is an example of what the next generation may come to expect for tabletop gaming. This table features either a 32inch or 24 inch screen options running the Android OS. The table is wifi enabled, which is expected, with the ability to allow indy game developers to create and add their games to this system. Out of the box the system features all of the most popular board and card games such as Monopoly, Pandemic, Battleship and more. It will be interesting as the future of the tabletop gaming continues to see how technology continues to become more integrated with it. It’s not clear how easy the interface will be to use, but set up time should be a breeze. The table is featured to be able to be broken down and stored. This means you don’t have to leave the game table out and don’t have to pick up the game components after play!
