Episode 54: Popular Ramblings

Episode 54

In this episode, our hosts get back together to talk about what drives armies to be popular. Joined by Eric, the StoneMonk, who is a new recruit to the Madison Warhammer Fantasy scene, the hosts ramble about what attracts both new players and veterans to an army. Also highlighted on are some of the business considerations that may come into play and/or drive what GW works to release.

Also covered is a recap of Conesy’s Gen Con experience. Everything from sculpting to Malifaux and True Dungeon. It was a blast and not enough time to really cover it all!

Forest Stands for Wargame Terrain

This project was initial inspired by the release of the Wood Elf book. I had almost chosen them as my first army (but the Ogre models are hard to beat) and the new book came out when I was still pretty fresh to Warhammer. But a number of things conspired to make this my first terrain project.
